Description: VINTAGE FISH BRASS BELT BUCKLE WITH SILVER TONE FISH CAUGHT ON LINE DESIGN VINTAGE BRASS BELT BUCKLE WITH SILVER TONE FISH CAUGHT ON LINE DESIGN. This listing is for a vintage brass, oval belt buckle with center raised silver tone fish. The piece appears to be hand/home made, some gaps around outer edge--see photos. The outer edge is raised like a fishing line that circles the buckle with the end inside the fish's mouth. The silver tone fish has textured scales, fins, tail, and face (fish alone is 2-1/4" long). The back of the buckle has a stationary metal tab for the belt material (with heavy solder) and the hook tab for latching into holes on belt is MISSING. The buckle measures approx. 3-1/2" BY 2-3/4". (I have not tried to clean anything.) When packed SECURELY for shipping, the weight is 8 ounces. Please pay close attention to photos for best description of condition, thank you.
