Description: This is a charming cardboard covered book about learning how to knit. The first half of the 32 page book is a story about Primrose featuring wonderful Disney-like graphics. The following pages are knitting lessons in black and white, mixed with lovely color photos of the doll's outfits. The story and text are by D'Elaine Lamarque, with illustrations by d'A. Ruiz et M. Saufnai. There are French and English versions of this book. This is the English version by Dee T. Bass, printed in the USA. I don't see a date of publication, but it appears to be from the late 1940's to early 1950's. It measures 9-3/8" x 7-1/8". This book is in very good vintage condition. There is a dealer's stamp on the first page printed diagonally. There are several spots on the front and back covers, and a bit of rust on the staples in the spine. The inner covers have a cute penguin print. All pages are included with no tears, stains or writing. Thank you for your interest in my item!
