The cover seems loose because the spine is not attached to the pages. The inside covers are holding it together. The pages are yellow. They contain no marks. Page 105 has a tear (see the picture). None of the pages are loose. Huckleberry Finn - Nelson Doubleday, Inc., 1954 - Excellent condition! The hardcover shows wear on the top and bottom of the spine, where the edges are bent. Perhaps it had a dust jacket at one point, but that is long gone. The pages do not show that it's nearly 70 years old. There are no marks, folds or tears. None of the pages are loose, although the glue holding it together has aged and, if not handled gently, the pages may loosen. Please review the photographs. Message me if you have any questions.
