Description: This is a vintage head vase that was made in Japan and distributed by the Relpo Pottery Company, located in Chicago, Illinois. It stands approximately 5 ¾” in height, 4 ¾” in length, 4” in width, and features an adorable baby girl head covered with a pink and white textured blanket. The baby’s features appear to be hand painted. The back of the vase is hollow allowing for a floral arrangement. An incised, “Relpo 6556”, mark is located on the base along with the company’s gold and green foil label. This charming vase is in very good condition with the exception of a small hairline crack on the rim, some discoloration on the interior and a few manufacturing flaws. Despite these minor imperfections, this is a nice pottery piece to display or to use.
