Modernist style Vintage (1970s/1980s) Napier (signed on back of focal, together with the copyright symbol) vintage silver-tone herringbone collar necklace with fold-over clasp.The reverse of the fold-over clasp is stamped NAPIER PAT. PENDING (meaning " patent pending"). Length: approximately 16 inches (collar necklace or choker necklace).Focal is a pear-shaped black stone that is either acrylic or possibly Lucite, surrounded by silver-tone swirls and black enamel swirls. Herringbone chain is intact, no wobbly or stiff areas. Enamel and black stone intact and the silver-tone is also in quite good condition. Some wear visible when viewed through a loupe. Very minor wear on the reverse of the focal visible to the naked eye. In very good vintage / pre-owned condition. No issues outside of minor wear commensurate with age. Modern, elegant design. Absolutely wearable all year round. The main black stone is acrylic or possibly Lucite with black enamel and silver tone swirls surrounding it.
