Description: 1955 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 1961 1962 Chevrolet 3.55 third member 3707306. Non posi open rear. Was removed from an earlier production 1955 model many years ago and put into storage. Would fit a 1955-1964 full sized Chevy and 1955-1962 corvette. Casting would be correct for a 1955-1956 Chevy. Has been shed stored for decades and the gears have a little surface rust on them. Spins over but seems a little tight in spots. Spider gears move. Differential could use lubrication. Had been sitting for a long time before removal. Some surface rust from damp storage but spins over all the way around. Would definitely need to be serviced before being put back in use. No date code on the case but the pinion appears to be January 1955. 39 tooth ring gear and 11 tooth pinion which makes it a 3.55.
