Description: These are very rare original 1940's post earring findings with a clip back. These are engraved brass with a gold-filled post.You stick the post through a pierced ear and snap the clip shut for a secure hold. These measure 16mm tall. In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible. I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect. We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
