The finish is glossy on the tree and the back of the bird, and the breast of the bird is semi glossy. This piece is well marked on the bottom with STANGL POTTERY BIRDS in a circle, incised number 3444 or maybe 5444. The artist mark appears to be in pencil, and I believe it is SVR.
