Description: A set of two circa 1940's vintage twin hand-stitched feed sack star quilts or coverlets. These are in tones of pink, dark blue & white with multiple colors in the stars and are reversible. Size is 75" x 58" each and they are on the lightweight side. The style is homey and cheerful, which you might call farmhouse, cottage core or country style. These were made by a quilting friend of my family in the So. California area of Upland. One is in very good condition and appears it was lightly used. The other has some missing stitching and loose threads. There are no rips, tears or stains. The photos show them laid out on a king size bed. These were stored away for 50+ years in a non-smoking home. They have been hand-laundered and line dried, and they are ready to be enjoyed.
