Description: Here is an attractive medal of Pope John Paul II, a very popular Pope. The medal reads JOANNES PAVLVS II PONT. MAX. IVBILAEVM REDEMPTIONIS 1983 and pictures the Pontif. The other side pictures an emblem, likely related to the Vatican. I do not know what kind of metal this is made of, has the look of silver but is likely silver plated brass? Reeded edge. Round, between a half dollar and silver dollar $1 size in diameter, reeded edge. AUBU with lots of luster, some abrasion wear on high points of cheek. This will make a nice addition to your collection. S/H $4.95; I do combine shipping on multiple auctions won for a savings to you on shipping.
