Description: These vintage wooden Russian USSR carved toy bears are a beautiful addition to any collection. Handmade with care, this traditional style wooden toy features intricate carvings and movable parts that add to their charm.Bear’s arms move as if playing the piano when the string with ball is pulled. There appears to be a part missing from the corner (rear of piano), I have seen similar examples where a smaller bear cub was seated here.The other toy the bear’s arms move as if tying the bag when string is pulled.Unknown maker but reportedly, this style of folk art figure comes form the village of Bogorodskoye in Russia. I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age.
