Description: Up for auction and fresh to the market is a, GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, WWII Souvenir Sheet from France, with Old, then current, German Hitler Stamps from Germany. Included are the three items that I had found in this 1945, envelope or cover, with three 2 cent Postage Due Stamps, from an estate just recently. We have the cover, the letter (with reference to the stamps) and the fantastic Souvenir Stamp Sheet with all Hitler Stamps, each with a defunct, 11/22/44, German Postmark or Cancel, Cancellation "Buchsweiler (Unterels) Mittelalterliche Romantik 22.11.44 7(AM)". When this French border town was under German Occuaption the town was named Buchsweiler (Unterels). When France had control the town is named Bouxwiller. This corporal was sending a letter home to his "Folks" in Washington, D.C. On the last page the soldier mentions sending these "Hitler" stamps along because he knows that his father does not have these particular stamps in his collection. The letter is dated February 8th, while the cover is postmarked February 9th, 1945. All of the items are in used condition and will be shipped folded, as found, please SEE PICS.
