The angle of view of the Voigtländer NOKTON 50 mm F1.2 corresponds to approx. 75 mm in full format, which makes it an ideal portrait lens. But it is also suitable for a variety of other shooting situations where a slightly longer focal length is required. The lens construction of the lens is based on a Sonnar formula with asymmetrical front and rear lens groups. This helps to minimize aberrations and distortions and at the same time enables excellent light transmission. The F1.2 aperture ensures excellent separation of the subject from the background and enables low-light shots with impressive detail.
