This bowl is from my granny’s estate: ITEM: One sterling silver weighted pedestal bonbon/candy/nut/compote bowl/dish BRAND: Empire (stamped #201) MATERIAL: Sterling silver (I don’t have a fancy scale like other sellers, but according to my kitchen scale, this bowl weighs 167 gm. — see 2nd pic) YEAR: Based on the fact that this belonged to my granny, I feel pretty confident it’s dated between 1900-1940. MEASUREMENT: See pics with tape measurer. CONDITION: PLZ VIEW ALL PICS!! This bowl is in very nice, vintage condition. Commiserate with its age, there may be a milk scratch or two, but I couldn’t really see any. And, despite our best polishing efforts, there are still a few tiny tarnish marks here & there, which I’m sure would polish out with some additional, light polishing. There is one very small dent/ding in the base. But, it’s almost imperceptible (smaller than a pencil eraser) unless examining close-up, & I couldn’t even get a good pic of it.
