Description: Today I am offering this awesome vintage (or it could even be considered antique) souvenir from the Lourdes Basilica in France. It is a domed diorama type oval measuring approximately 7"L x 5"W x 1"D. Under the dome are 3D images of the Basilica castle structure, the Virgin Mary apparition, a kneeling-praying devotee pilgrim, amongst stars and roses. Everything appears to be made of celluloid plastic and it's held together by a brass band frame. The back is sturdy cardboard and is dated August 1957, hand written. There is a hanging loop at the top. Attached to the loop is a silver colored metal religious oval medallion. It's most likely aluminum tin. The dome has a blue paper label near the top that reads: Entierement Lumineux Depose B. It's partially torn. This piece glows in the dark. It's in amazingly good condition being nearly 70 years old.
