Description: This vintage 1950s Napco Christmas ceramic features a 2 piece set including a seated little girl and her festive Christmas sleigh. A very rare set, both pieces are marked with the same model #s of AX 1710 assuring that they were always a matched set. The little girl is in a seated position, her hand raised in greeting; She fits into the sleigh (I put a little batting inside for her to sit a bit more securely. This is a very hard-to-find set, perfect for collectors of holiday figurines. Made in Japan between 1950-1959, this glossy finished piece is crafted from ceramic and porcelain. Both are labeled and stamped by NAPCO, the labels are a little worn. The sleigh even has an old price tag that was probably a pittance once upon a time! No chips, cracks or repairs.
