Description: What we have today is an incredible Zodiac Sea Wolf men’s diving watch. Cream patina dial. Definitely view the California Zodiac documentary on Netflix! The watch with a nearly identical dial was worn by the only real credible suspect of the crimes. This cream zodiac sea wolf model was on the screen in the second of the three part documentary. I believe the suspect’s watch was taken from him by investigators and never returned. Mine is not this watch but appears to be the same model. Look at the patina on the dial! Beautiful hands. Has orig lume on the hands some is missing, but it’s there. Orig lume on the dial, fades immediately under black light Replacement crown is on the watch. See the last image; a new old stock zodiac crown is included ! I’m pretty sure it’s the correct part. The watch is complete! Production likely dates to the mid 60s It is in intermittent running condition. It starts, stops. It def needs an overhaul. The watch sets but slips, so I don’t want to damage it. Unknown service history. The crystal is nice orig with scratches but looks fine. period correct beads of rice band, the orig band is long gone. The bezel turns loosely. The bezel must be brass and then nickel plated. See images as the plating is thin showing the base brass. It’s just beautiful. This is a historical piece; I like these super original and this one is incredible. Perfect caseback. I have not opened it up! The midcase is original and has nice finish.
